How to Apply Wallpaper?
Wallpaper is a covering material that reflects our personal taste. Besides our tastes, the choice of the room we will cover is also important. We can use all kinds of wallpaper in bedrooms and corridors. However, the same does not apply to bathrooms and kitchens. These areas are likely to be humid. If you want to use washable wallpaper in such humid rooms, you can use general wallpaper adhesive. If you are using vinyl or woven wallpaper, you should apply a special adhesive. The materials needed for the process are a utility knife, ladder, brush, spatula, cloth, and sponge. If your wall is cement, apply putty 1 day before the process. This way, you protect your wall against negative effects.
If your wall is painted, disinfect it with cleaning supplies.
Create an ideal surface for the adhesive. Remove the roughness of your walls by scraping cracked sections. Carefully measure and cut your wallpaper into equal pieces. Apply your wallpaper starting from a window in the room. Start the covering process from the section of the wall near the ceiling. Stick the pieces you cut in 2 layers to the wall. After you have your first alignment, carefully stick the other pieces. You can re-stick according to any mistakes that occur.
