Changing Address and Reporting Modifications to the Vehicle

Changing Address and Reporting Modifications to the Vehicle

What is the Procedure for Registering LPG in the Vehicle Registration Document?

When LPG systems are installed, project documents, invoices, and warranty certificates must be obtained. You need to go to the vehicle tax office in your location and obtain a "no debt" certificate for vehicle inspection. If you have no outstanding debts, you must pay your inspection fees at the tax office counters. After paying the inspection fees for the LPG system, you must go to the leak-proof units of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers. From there, you must obtain the leak-proof report. You will fill out the necessary documents at any traffic insurance agent. Simultaneously, when you convert your car to LPG and need to register it in the vehicle registration document, you must submit a petition to the Provincial Security Directorate. You can pay the fees for these procedures during the registration document filling process. All modifications made to vehicles in accordance with the specified regulations, as well as any address changes, must be reported by the operator to the registration authorities within approximately 30 days.

Can LPG Vehicles Enter Indoor Parking Lots?

Due to specific regulations in our country, all vehicles with LPG systems are prohibited from entering indoor parking lots. Any prohibition on entering ferries is a result of an overzealous interpretation of regulations. In Europe, based on standards that came into effect in 2001 for LPG autogas systems, vehicles with safety valves can enter indoor parking lots freely. However, some individuals attempt to conceal the filling nozzles, which should be outside the vehicle, inside the car to bypass these restrictions, leading to greater risks. In many European countries, vehicles with safety valve systems are allowed into indoor parking lots. In some other countries, if the vehicle is to remain parked for an extended period, the valve on the tank outlet must be manually closed to provide additional safety. Vehicles with technical modifications to their LPG autogas systems must have documentation proving that all modifications were made in accordance with certain conditions. Furthermore, in such cases, vehicles are prohibited from traffic until all modifications are registered at the relevant registration offices and documented in the traffic documents by the operator.
